A wedding on an August day.
It was one of those late summer days, with its slow rhythms and still warm air, but already ready for change. Among the guests were the Sea and the Wind that gently moved the hair, the clothes, and the branches of the pines. There was also Monte Conero towering and protecting the Fortino Napoleonico.
In this small great Pearl of the Marche, the wedding of Giulia and Akbar took place. Their story was told during the ceremony and brought many smiles and emotions. The walls of the Fortino protected it from prying eyes… and rightly so for a precious story like this.
We had fun practicing the waltz that Giulia and Akbar would dance with the guests. Then came the time for the elegant and joyful reception, full of friends, relatives, and pageboys. The entire wedding passed slowly, amidst smiles and jokes, just like the last days of summer holidays, with the orange sun embracing and the blue sea enchanting.
I can only thank Giulia and Akbar for giving me the opportunity to capture their wedding in such a wonderful place as the Fortino Napoleonico.
A big hug
